Davey Boy Smith Jr. has still not made his return to WWE TV after signing a new contract with the company.
Back on July 16th, he teamed with Austin Theory to beat Odyssey Jones and Xyon Quinn in a dark match.
Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that “one of the reasons Harry Smith hasn’t been seen since he did the one dark match is that he contracted COVID.”
The good news is Smith is fine now and was backstage for the draft show in Baltimore for SmackDown. He wasn’t drafted though. It’s still unclear when he will make his return to TV.
