Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is seemingly done with DC Comics and Black Adam after turning down an offer for a cameo role in Shazam 2.
This year, the Brahma Bull played the titular role in Black Adam, a film about the DC anti-hero and protector of Khandaq, which has been a project Johnson has been tied to for years.
It was reported by The Wrap‘s Umberto Gonzalez that The Rock was offered a cameo role in the sequel to 2018’s Shazam, but refused.
This news comes after the former WWE World Champion unfollowed Warner Bros. and the Black Adam accounts on social media, furthering speculation of a rift between the two sides.
While a film between Black Adam and Superman was teased in the post-credits scene for Black Adam, that now looks unlikely with Henry Cavill being removed from the role as the Last Son of Krypton.
