As noted before, Monday’s RAW Supershow from Washington, DC drew a 3.10 rating with 4.29 million viewers. RAW this week was third for the night on cable. This week’s show was down 21% from the 5.46 million viewers of the week after WrestleMania in 2011. That says a lot because last year there was no big bombshell along the lines of Brock Lesnar’s return.
In the segment breakdown, Santino Marella & Brodus Clay vs. Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger lost 99,000 viewers from the opener. A backstage segment with John Laurinaitis, The Miz and John Cena plus Santino looking for The Three Stooges and R-Truth vs. Cody Rhodes gained 255,000 viewers. Lord Tensai vs. Yoshi Tatsu lost 415,000 viewers.
The segment between CM Punk and Chris Jericho at 10pm gained 379,000 viewers for a 3.19 quarter rating. Punk vs. Mark Henry and the post-match angle with Chris Jericho giving a beer bath to Punk as well as the Alberto Del Rio vs. Zack Ryder lost 169,000 viewers. The segment with The Three Stooges lost 240,000 viewers and was the low point of the show at a 2.90 quarter rating.
The backstage interview with Brock Lesnar gained 423,000 viewers. The main event with John Cena vs. David Otunga and the Lesnar run-in gained 301,000 viewers. This is considered a weak overrun rating at a 3.42
