On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, former AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa discussed her personal and professional issues in her battle to return to the ring.
Rosa said, “This is how the universe works. You have to either take it and run with it, or you take it and then sink with it, and I did not want to sink. … There [were] a lot of dark moments, but with the help of people that care for me, with the help of therapists and psychiatrists, … I’m here and Saturday’s going to be the day.”
Rosa will make her in-ring return on Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision. She will team with Abadon against TBS Champion Julia Hart and Skye Blue in tag team action.
The Iron Claw stars Zac Efron and Jeremy Allen White recently spoke about the possibility of getting in the ring for an actual wrestling match.
It appears that AEW wrestler Kip Sabian wants to fulfill their desire.
Kip Sabian tweeted, “The prophecy could finally come true @AEW. Give me @ZacEfron. #AEWDynamite”
The Iron Claw will theaters on Friday.
