Joe Hendry’s increasing popularity with fans has been notable since his debut on WWE NXT TV as part of the crossover between WWE and TNA Wrestling.
Despite being the first to be eliminated from the battle royal during his NXT debut, Hendry received a positive response from the audience when his entrance theme played.
Hendry has also generated considerable engagement on social media, which resulted in WWE featuring him heavily on NXT TV over the past few weeks.
Hendry recently appeared on Chris Jericho’s “Talk Is Jericho” podcast, where he said, “We’ve got a while” regarding his TNA contract.
Pwinsider is reporting that Hendry’s TNA contract is believed to expire next year. WWE might buy out Hendry’s TNA contract if they want to sign him before he becomes a free agent.
Hendry defeated Joe Coffey earlier this week on the second night of WWE NXT: The Great American Bash 2024.
