WWE Hall of Famer Booker T believes Tessa Blanchard deserves a second chance in a major promotion following her recent return to TNA Wrestling.
Blanchard was part of the TNA Final Resolution pay-per-view event, her first TNA show since 2020, where she attacked Jordynne Grace.
On a recent edition of his “Hall of Fame” podcast, Booker T addressed Blanchard’s return and efforts by some to ‘cancel’ her. He said,
“People still wanting to try to cancel her. Man, y’all get off of it. The thing is, if something was said, if an apology was made and fences were mended, we should be able to move on.”
In 2020, Blanchard was accused of bullying and using a racial slur at La Rosa Negra, claims that the former World Champion has denied.
In April 2023, Blanchard and La Rosa Negra shared a photo, showing that they had made amends after what allegedly transpired.
On the podcast, Booker T also called Blanchard’s 2020 Impact World Championship victory the company’s biggest mistake and explained why. He said,
“This business is to be embellished, but there are lines that we don’t cross because those lines, sometimes we can’t cross back over. That’s the way I see it.”
