Jai Vidal and TNA Wrestling have parted ways.
Fightful Select is reporting that Vidal recently asked for and was granted his release from the company.
Vidal signed a multi-year contract with TNA Wrestling in late 2022. He last wrestled for the promotion in an Ultimate X qualifying match in August. In addition to that match, he had only worked four other matches for the company this year.
Multiple sources are reporting that Vidal was frustrated regarding the creative process and also had made it well known that he wasn’t happy about the importance of representation in the company as TNA’s first openly gay wrestler wasn’t reciprocated.
In 2024, Vidal has worked for Coastal Championship Wrestling, GCW, Future Stars of Wrestling and more.
