The 2024 cup was won by the Florida Panthers, who marked their first-ever cup victory with a 2-1 victory over the Edmonton Oilers.
After Carter Verhaeghe scored the first goal of Game 7, a fan’s sign was shown on the broadcast and referenced the popular TNA Wrestling star.
On Twitter, Hendry acknowledged the reference to his song and recalled his warning to WWE NXT head Shawn Michaels.

Hendry appeared on last week’s episode of WWE NXT and it has been reported that both NXT and TNA are optimistic that there will be more crossover shows for the Scottish star.
