On a recent edition of his “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy” podcast, Matt Hardy was asked whether his ‘broken’ self would ever consider joining The Judgment Day faction. He said,
“Never say never. Who knows? The ‘Broken’ Matt Hardy character is actually kind of evolving. Some people have noticed how I kind of go in and out of the voice of ‘Broken’ Matt or the voice of the more authentic Matt Hardy, so it is changing some. It is definitely evolving. I think it is time to do this evolution. So yeah, who knows? The Judgment Day, they’ve got a cool gig going, so yeah, that’d be something that would be fun.”
The Judgment Day currently consists of Damian Priest, JD McDonagh, Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley, and Carlito.
Matt left WWE in 2020 and would go on to join AEW but did attend a recent taping of Monday Night RAW in his native North Carolina.
