In a recent interview with WhatCulture Wrestling, TNA wrestler Mike Santana recalled his feud with Ortiz in AEW and his desire to resolve it expediently.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On his feud with Ortiz ending so quickly: “Not my show. It was one of those things…I’m thankful I’ve gotten to a point in my life and my career that, I’d say a couple of years back that would have rattled my brain. So much history (between us), but it’s like, ‘Alright, cool. Let’s get it over with so I can start on my new journey and keep it pushing.’ That’s exactly how I looked at it.”

On their match on AEW Rampage: “We had a good couple of week build up. We had that good match. We let out what we needed to let out, and it was over after that. I wished him the best and for me, it was no hard feelings, no nothing. It was the end of a chapter and the beginning of a new one. That was it for me.”

On a recent edition of his “Murderhawk Mailbag” podcast, AEW wrestler Lance Archer discussed the prospect of returning to TNA Wrestling, the promotion in which he formerly competed under the name ‘Dallas’ in the initial phase of his career.

Archer said, “I mean, the one thing I’ve always said about the business is you never say never. But right now, I’m with AEW. Everything’s going good and strong. I think everybody kind of keeps up with everything that’s going on in the business, and I have friends that are there, old tag partners. Brian Myers and I had a little bit of a history way back in the way with WWE. I’ve got good friends that I’ve known since my first run in TNA, like Frankie Kazarian.”

He continued, “He and I were there way back in the early 2000s. I like to watch my friends, see their success, see what they’re doing. I think it’s good for the business when companies are doing their best to try to be competitive with other companies. As you see in the world of professional companies, there’s a lot of forbidden doors being opened lately, so it’s a cool time to see wrestling as a whole. As far as me in TNA, who knows what happens in the future? But right now, I’m running strong with AEW, and I have no plans to leave.”
