Also at Friday night’s TNA Emergence pay-per-view event, Alisha Edwards suffered an injury during the six-woman Knockouts tag team match.
In a match that saw Jordynne Grace and Spitfire face off against Edwards, Masha Slamovich, and Ash By Elegance, Jody Threat attempted a dive and Edwards appeared to have hit her head on the floor during the spot. It is said that Edwards was legitimately knocked out.
After the rest of the competitors involved in the match realized that Edwards was hurt, they brawled to the other side of the ring as TNA officials came out to check on Edwards. They eventually took her to the back.
Pwinsider is reporting that it’s believed Edwards suffered a concussion. At last word, she was being checked out backstage.
We send our best wishes to Edwards.
