Tessa Blanchard has officially returned to TNA Wrestling.
During Friday night’s TNA Resolution pay-per-view event, Blanchard, wearing a ski mask and coat, attacked Jordynne Grace during her match with Rosemary. She nailed her with a Hammerlock DDT before revealing herself and confidently posing for the crowd.
Her departure from TNA in 2020 was a controversial one. Blanchard made history by becoming the first woman to hold the TNA World Championship after defeating Sami Callihan at TNA Hard To Kill 2020. However, her tenure ended after she refused to return the TNA World Championship belt and reportedly demanded more money to vacate the title. On top of that, her departure was marred by allegations of using racial slurs against La Rosa Negra and accusations of bullying other wrestlers.
During a post-attack comment, she reminded the fans “who the company was built upon.”
