Ash By Elegance (Dana Brooke in WWE) made an appearance at Sunday night’s NXT Battleground 2024 pay-per-view event. She came out near the end of Jordynne Grace’s match with Roxanne Perez and fought with Tatum Paxley, which led to Grace taking Ash out.
According to a report from Pwinsider, Ash’s appearance was not originally planned for the show. While Tatum Paxley was always set to appear, an idea to add someone as an original surprise came and it was added at the very last-minute.
TNA Wrestling Executive producer Ariel Shnerer is said to be the person who has the final say in TNA’s day-to-day operations.
Shnerer, who was backstage at WWE NXT Battleground 2024, has received high praise from talent for being upfront with them.
Additionally, it is said that Shnerer has a positive reputation as being “consistent and solid” and “[holding] everything together” during the company’s reorganization process.
