It looks like one of WWE’s top NXT call-ups is already dealing with an injury just days after making their main roster debut. NXT World Champion Tommaso Ciampa, Ricochet, Johnny Gargano, and Aleister Black all debuted on the main roster. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Ciampa is currently dealing with an injury.
The severity of the injury isn’t certain, however, Ciampa is working through it at the moment. He is apparently under the mindset that he’ll deal with any lingering injury after his match-up at NXT TakeOver: New York. Ciampa was kept off RAW this week and weekend NXT house shows for the foreseeable future. We’ll keep you updated as more information on Ciampa’s injury become’s available.
