On March 11th, President Donald Trump announced a 30-day travel ban between the United States and Europe due to the novel coronavirus incidents across the world. Initially, the ban was excluding the UK. However, that has changed as of this afternoon, when BBC News reported that the ban now will include the UK and Ireland starting midnight (EST) on Monday, March 16th.
This ban does not completely prohibit American citizens from traveling back to the United States, as long as they complete a test prior to arriving back in the country.
Noted earlier on eWn, Tampa officials are waiting for WWE to make a decision to cancel or postpone, or they might have to “pull the plug” on the event for them.
WWE confirmed they have a contingency plan in place if the show does get canceled.
“While we remain committed to hosting WrestleMania at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, April 5, we are putting contingency plans in place in the event that it is canceled by government officials, civil authorities and/or local venues.”
