On last week’s episode of AEW Collision, FTR shockingly dropped the AEW World Tag Team Championships to the team of Ricky Starks & Big Bill in what was a pretty one-sided affair.
Due to the nature and circumstances of the match, reports began to circulate that Cash Wheeler was dealing with an injury, as was also reported by Bryan Alvarez on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio.
However, his own colleague, Dave Meltzer, has now noted on the most recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that Wheeler is not injured, and the match was planned to set up a future rematch.
