There was some confusion amongst fans when it was announced that Jon Moxley would be present for AEW’s new live event tour, House Rules, on the same day as OTT ScrapperMania 7. Both events are scheduled for March 18, with House Rules set in Troy, OH, and Scrappermania in Dublin, Ireland.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, OTT found out about Moxley’s scheduling predicament when AEW sent out their official press release detailing the live event tour. While there’s yet to be word on Moxley’s status for ScrapperMania, OTT did contact the former AEW World Champion about appearing for the show before AEW announced House Rules. Moxley apparently said he would appear if the company approved it.
In a statement, promoter Joe Cabray wrote that OTT is currently working with AEW on the matter. He said,
“We understand there is some confusion on Jon Moxley’s appearance at ScrapperMania. We are working with AEW and should have news coming soon.“
