We reported earlier this year here on eWn that Van Hammer was arrested on January 26th for driving under the influence. As noted, he was driving a car that hit a five-year-old boy on a bicycle. While there was a pre-trial hearing set for April 24th, that has now been pushed back to April 30th at 9AM.
Van Hammer waived his right for a speedy trial and is being represented by a public defender.
