Fightful Select is reporting that several pro wrestling stars were in attendance at last night’s Super Bowl. Britt Baker, Orange Cassidy, Wardlow, and The Bella Twins were at the game. Kalisto, Mojo Rawley, and AEW announcer Justin Roberts were also in town for Rob Gronkowski’s beach party.
Wrestlenomics reports that the episode of WOW – Women of Wrestling on January 29th had 309,000 viewers. This was down five percent from the January 22nd episode (326,000 viewers). However, the rating in the key 18 to 49 demo was a 0.05 with 76,000 viewers. This was up seven percent from the previous week’s 71,000 viewers.
Finally, Joey Janela took part in a K&S Wrestlefest virtual signing and compared himself to King Kong Bundy, saying, “I’m like King Kong Buddy of AEW. A couple [of] big matches, maybe I’ll come back.”
