Fightful Select has made available a bunch of tidbits from the pro wrestling industry that you can check out below:
* Goldberg, who is now a free agent, had reportedly pitched a match in Israel.
* Multiple sources from Impact Wrestling have confirmed that Jody Threat has indeed signed with the promotion.
* It was previously reported that former WWE creative head and writer Chris DeJoseph has been working for Turning Point USA, but his page on their site has now been removed.
* WWE sources indicate that many of the WrestleMania talents arrived in Los Angeles, CA today. Some Superstars will be away for 9-10 days, beginning with RAW this week, followed by the WrestleMania 39 arrivals today, and then next Monday’s RAW before finally returning home on Tuesday, April 4th.
* David Faber provided an update on the ongoing WWE sale on the latest edition of Squawk on the Street on CNBC. During his Faber Report segment, he revealed that the situation is “shaping up to be a pretty good sale process.”
WME-Endeavor, Liberty Media, and Saudi Arabia’s PIF are among the most probable organizations to purchase WWE. Faber also noted that WWE is expected to execute a sale in the not-too-distant future and the final outcome will also depend on “McMahon’s real willingness to sell,” as he’s still the majority shareholder in the company. While NBCUniversal/Comcast is not currently part of the sale process, it’s apparent that they are no longer in the running to purchase WWE. You can check out a clip of the segment below:
