On last night’s episode of NXT, The Undisputed Era announced that they beat down Velveteen Dream backstage, meaning he would be unable to face Roderick Strong for the NXT North American Championship next week.
Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dream was legitimately injured, which is why he was pulled from the matchup. The report didn’t elaborate as to what exactly was wrong, it was only said that Dream was dealing with “some sort of injury.” We’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
