Following the reports that emerged on Tuesday about WWE filing a trademark for the ring name “Gunther Stark”, we now seemingly know who that name will be for.
After defeating Roderick Strong on this week’s episode of WWE NXT 2.0, WALTER would state that the winner of the match was not WALTER but instead, “Gunther”.
For those of you who don’t know, the name “Gunther Stark” also belonged to a Nazi military commander in World War II. It is possible that following the shocking nature of this name, WALTER will just be using the first name Gunther going forward instead.
