WWE’s production team has had some questionable camera angles in recent years, especially when it comes to the Royal Rumble.
In 2016, “The Phenomenal One” AJ Styles made his debut at that year’s Royal Rumble. However, the camera angle chosen focused on Roman Reigns leaving viewers puzzled momentarily. WWE would later release alternate footage of the debut online.
In similar fashion, last night the “Rated R Superstar” Edge made his in-ring return at this year’s Royal Rumble after retiring in 2011 due to medical related issues. The production team (Kevin Dunn) seemed to have picked approximately 40 different angles in a short span of time, missing out on key moments including Edge delivering the first spear to Dolph Ziggler.
