According to a report from Pwinsider, Shane Douglas and Tommy Dreamer were backstage at the AEW Rampage TV tapings in Pittsburgh, PA on Friday night. Douglas lives in the area and was simply visiting. Several Impact Wrestling personnel, including Dreamer, were also backstage at the show.
Kenny Omega and Don Callis appear to be done with Impact Wrestling for the time being. This comes after Christian Cage defeated Omega to win the Impact World Title on Friday night’s episode of AEW Rampage.
Following the show, Scott D’Amore took to Twitter and posted a photo of Cage and indicated that Callis and Omega are done with the company (for now). He said,
It feels like the world is right again. After tonight’s @AEW #AEWRampage the @IMPACTWRESTLING World Title belongs to @Christian4Peeps.
It’s time to bid adieu to @KennyOmegamanX & @TheDonCallis
It’s time to say “Goodbye and *kisses finger gun* good night. BANG!”
