As we reported earlier today here on eWn, WWE’s Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon will be taking a leave of absence beginning today (Thursday) to focus on her family. Of course, WWE will now need to find a replacement to fill her role until she’s ready to return.
According to a report from Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston, WWE President Nick Khan will be taking over most of Stephanie’s duties moving forward.
Additionally, Thurston is reporting that several of WWE’s business partners were informed on Thursday that Khan would be taking over the duties.
As we reported, numerous WWE employees were said to have been “shocked” when Stephanie McMahon made the official announcement via Twitter on Thursday.
