As we previously reported here on eWn, Teddy Hart was set to have a hearing on February 8 on the charges of possession of MDMA (ecstasy) and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. That hearing was listed as a mandatory appearance on Hart’s behalf for “Early Resolution,” a division that identifies potential candidates for early plea deals. That was later pushed back.
Pwinsider is reporting that the bench warrant issued for Hart on his ecstasy possession charges has been rescinded.
Hart’s attorneys reportedly filed a motion on March 13 to withdraw the bench warrant, stating that he was in the hospital during the hearing and unable to reach out to them.
The prosecution did not oppose the motion and the warrant was rescinded on March 14. Hart is now scheduled for another hearing on April 4.
Hart was arrested on July 15, 2023, in Florida and charged with possession of MDMA (ecstasy) and possession of a controlled substance without prescription, both of which are third-degree felonies.
