WWE Hall of Famer ‘Diamond’ Dallas Page won’t rule out the possibility of having one more wrestling match despite now being in his late 60s.
In a recent interview with TV Insider, Page was asked about possibly having one more retirement match given the positive response to Sting’s last match. He said,
“I feel like I got it [a retirement match] in AEW. I wasn’t on WWE stuff for a long time because I was helping Cody Rhodes with AEW stuff. It wasn’t me helping AEW. It was me helping Cody. I wanted to help The one we did. That six-man we did. I was so live at the end of that match. I looked so good in that match. I came off the top rope and didn’t hurt myself. I thought it was the greatest sendoff you could have. Cody had asked me, “One more?” How do you make it better than how I left it?
“Never say never [to one more match.] I’m still in shape. I can drop Diamond Cutters right now.”
The match Page is referring to was at AEW Bash at the Beach 2020 and saw himself, Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall lose to MJF, The Butcher, and The Blade.
Page’s most recent singles match took place at a World Wrestling Legends event in March 2006 which saw the Yoga enthusiast defeat fellow WCW alum Chris Kanyon.
