Ricochet recently shared how CIMA and Japan’s Dragon Gate Wrestling promotion played a significant role in reigniting his passion for professional wrestling during a tough period in his career.

Speaking with Q101, Ricochet reflected on how, at a time when his love for wrestling had faded, working with CIMA and the Dragon Gate roster helped him rediscover his excitement for the sport. He said,

“Dragon Gate at that point when I was kind of shut off, I found–I re-found my love for it. I rekindled that fire that was…that was like of just embers burning at the moment just like recently with AEW, like the reason why I went to AEW is because I really wanted to find that true love again because I felt like it was kind of lost for a little bit. But yeah, CIMA and the whole Dragon Gate crew really ignited that fire for me and really catapulted me in Ricochet as a performer all around to kind of the person I am today.”

He added, “The discipline aspect of what it takes to do this, I got from PAC, and then just being in the ring, again, the timing, the accuracy, the ring awareness, everything. The spatial awareness, like PAC is second to none at that.”

Brett Ryan Gosselin has reportedly joined Major League Wrestling (MLW) with a multi-year contract, as reported by Fightful Select.

Gosselin, who is currently part of the Rogue Horsemen faction alongside Bobby Fish, CW Anderson, and Brock Anderson, is seen as a promising breakout star in the promotion.

Gosselin had been working with MLW without an official contract for some time, but the company was impressed with his performance, leading to the contract offer. Additionally, Court Bauer, MLW’s CEO, has reportedly expressed that Gosselin reminds him of Steve Corino, a former member of the legendary Extreme Horsemen faction, which could suggest Gosselin’s potential to play a similar role in the company moving forward.

AEW has added two Continental Classic matches to this week’s episode of Collision. Tony Khan announced late Tuesday evening that Darby Allin vs. Komander and Daniel Garcia vs. Mark Briscoe are set for this weekend’s show.

The updated card for the show, which airs Saturday on TNT, is:

* Wrestle Dynasty Women’s Invitational Tournament: Willow Nightingale vs. Serena Deeb
* AEW Continental Classic Blue League Match: Daniel Garcia vs. Mark Briscoe
* AEW Continental Classic Gold League Match: Komander vs. Darby Allin
* Emi Sakura vs. Mina Shirakawa

And finally, Rhyno will be making his return to GCW at next month’s ‘Sorry Pal’ event. GCW announced that the TNA star is set to compete at the January 10th show in Rochester, New York.

Rhyno last competed for GCW in January of 2022 at GCW Most Notorious in a match against Matt Cardona.
