Soft Ground Wrestling, the upstart promotion based in Uganda, has gained significant attention on social media due to its DIY approach.
In light of this, Tate Mayfairs, a promoter, has announced a GoFundMe campaign to support the company.
The campaign aims to raise £10,000 (approximately $12,500) to help Soft Ground Wrestling attain specific goals, such as buying the land they train on, better facilities, food, medicine, knee pads, first aid, and water.
You can check out the GoFundMe campaign here.
In addition, SGW recently presented a championship title to its roster, thanks to Royal Belts and Micheal L Ledesma.
The promotion has organized a tournament to determine the inaugural SGW Champion, as you can see below:
Appreciative thanx @royalbelts to Mr. Micheal L Ledesma for the donation made of a brand new sgw championship belt. May God bless you. We happily received it well packaged. Sgw now has a brand new tittle belt that is undergoing a tournament. pic.twitter.com/Q8Hr8LdJZg
