It was previously reported here on eWrestlingNews.com that Drew McIntyre has been pulled from next week’s WWE Holiday Tour live events.
McIntyre was originally supposed to be part of the 8-Man tag team match at the Madison Square Garden on December 26th, but the Scottish Psychopath is currently on the shelf with a ruptured eardrum and is yet to be medically cleared.
Pwinsider is reporting that although McIntyre might be able to work the post-Christmas live events next week, WWE officials are being extra cautious with his injury. The idea is for McIntyre to be “beyond 100%” ready when doctors medically clear him.
Although there’s currently no timetable for McIntyre’s return to the ring, it’s safe to assume that the former Universal Champion will be medically cleared to compete at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event on January 30th.
