The following is from our play-by-play coverage of the WWE Clash of Champions PPV event:
WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso
Reigns bullied Uso in the early part of this match. Uso fought back briefly before Reigns dropped him with a Superman Punch. Uso continued to fight back, but Reigns kept knocking him down. Jey fired up with some strikes and Reigns missed a spear and ate the ring post. Jey hit an outside dive before getting back into the ring and hitting a head kick.
Jey followed up with another outside dive. Back in the ring, Jey hit a crossbody then a superkick for a near fall. Reigns hit a leaping leg drop for 2. Reigns went for a spear, but Jey rolled him up for 2. Jey hit a super kick then a splash off the top rope for 2.
Reigns hit a spear and then followed up with another one. Reigns wanted Uso to acknowledge him as the Tribal Chief and mauled him due to the defiance. Jimmy walked out to the ring and threw in the towel.
Winner: WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns
