Seth Rollins vs. Matt Riddle in a Fight Pit with Daniel Cormier as the special guest referee was booked at this year’s WWE Extreme Rules premium live event. The following is the play-by-play coverage of the match:
They brawled to start things off. Riddle did the Showtime Pettis kick off the cage. Rollins with a suplex into the cage. Rollins with a frog splash off part of the cage. Riddle with an RKO from out of nowhere. Riddle went for another RKO, but Rollins blocked and hit the stomp. They went onto the platform above the ring and brawled. Seth smashed his face into the cage. Rollins with the buckle bomb into the cage. Rollins with the pedigree on the platform. Riddle with an RKO on the platform and Rollins rolled down to the ring. Riddle with the floating bro off the top of the pit onto Rollins. Riddle put him in a choke and Rollins tapped out.
