Former WWE Superstar Bronson Reed (JONAH) could be the next to return to the promotion as part of the new regime running the company.
Reed was released in August 2021 as part of ‘budget cuts’ despite reported plans for a main roster call-up.
The Australian Superstar had been making appearances in main roster dark matches, typically a sign that a call-up is imminent.
Andrew Zarian reported on his “We’re Live Pal” podcast that WWE has shown interest in Reed once more.
“I’ve heard one name over the last few weeks and that’s JONAH [Reed’s post-WWE name.]
“There are people very interested in him because of his talent, his performance in the G1. He’s a name that people are interested in.”
Reed joined WWE in 2019, and won his only title, the NXT North American Championship on the May 18, 2021 episode of WWE NXT, defeating Johnny Gargano in a steel cage match.
