Current RAW and SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Becky Lynch apparently already has her plans laid out for WrestleMania 36. According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the reason WWE has paired up Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair at Money In The Bank is because there’s a different match already planned for “The Man” in Tampa Bay.
Lynch is slotted to be the top woman on the show, and her opponent is not scheduled to be either Flair or Ronda Rousey. However, if Rousey does eventually decide to return, that match isn’t completely out of the question. Initially, the lead idea for WrestleMania 36 was Lynch vs. Flair. It was, for this reason, the Triple Threat with Lynch, Rousey, and Flair was made at WrestleMania 35.
The idea was to elevate the two women before 2020 to Superstar status so they could each carry a brand.
