Alexa Bliss challenged Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship on this week’s inaugural Monday Night RAW of 2023. However, The Goddess was disqualified for snapping and assaulting the referee and Belair.
In the final moments of the match, Bliss battled Belair on the outside of the ring when a mysterious figure appeared in the audience sporting an Uncle Howdy mask, drawing Alexa’s attention. A second individual appeared in the mask appeared soon after, and Bliss made her best efforts to refocus until Bray Wyatt’s icon briefly appeared on the giant screen. Bliss then snapped and attacked the official, before unleashing a ruthless assault on Belair. Alexa launched the reigning RAW Women’s Champion into the steel post and then sent her into the steel steps before delivering multiple DDTs onto the steps to conclude her assault.
A bloodied, busted-open Bianca was then stretchered out of the arena. WWE later took to Twitter to announce that Belair was receiving medical treatment backstage.
