According to a report from TalkSPORT, British wrestler Millie McKenzie has signed a contract with WWE and will be competing on the NXT UK brand. McKenzie wrestled in the NXT UK Women’s Championship Tournament back in 2018, losing to Jinny in the first round. With Travis Banks signing a deal with WWE in the past, that held any notion of the company signing McKenzie due to the #SpeakingOut allegations between McKenzie and Banks.
The company does have high hopes for McKenzie and the plan would be to move her to the top of the card in NXT UK. She will likely work with Melko Satamura, whom she has wrestled with and known on the indie wrestling scene for a long time. McKenzie is also set to compete at PROGRESS Chapter 104 in a match with Mercedez Blaze. That event will take place on February 20th on the WWE Network.
