Sami Zayn will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Saturday night’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event.
On the Elimination Chamber go-home edition of WWE SmackDown, Sami Zayn received a lengthy ovation from his hometown crowd in Montreal as he vowed to dethrone The Tribal Chief at the Bell Center on Saturday.
The match between Zayn and Reigns has been highly anticipated by fans, as it marks the culmination of their feud which began at the 2023 Royal Rumble.
Zayn declared it will not just be Roman vs. Sami at Elimination Chamber; it will be Roman vs. Sami and all of Montreal as The Roman Empire finally falls.
Zayn also used some French in front of the buzzing crowd. He said,
“Roman Reigns, écoute-moi bien. Demain soir, t’es chez moi, tabarnac”
The translation boils down to:
“Roman Reigns, listen to me closely. Tomorrow night, you’re in my house, goddamn it!”
There’s no doubt that Zayn is a beloved babyface on the Road To WrestleMania and his hometown crowd in Montreal will be cheering him on at Elimination Chamber.
