WWE has been protecting Xavier Woods as of late and that’s because he’s not 100% cleared yet.
Pwinsider is reporting that Woods is banged up, which is why The New Day haven’t been seen more inside the ring. The report notes,
“The expectation internally is that he should be good to go by Royal Rumble, if not sooner.”
Last month, The New Day won the NXT Tag Team Titles at NXT Deadline from Pretty Deadly. Speaking of the NXT team, they were told Pretty Deadly did a really great job on the WWE live events over the weekend.
There’s no word on whether they are heading to RAW tonight or if they were only booked for other live events.
