NJPW star Jay White is likely to leave the company very soon and it would seem that WWE is the front-runner to acquire him. The chances of White resigning with NJPW are getting slimmer by the day as his contract is due to expire by the end of January. The people at WrestleVotes have added more fuel to the fire by stating the following on Twitter:
Lots of Jay White / WWE rumors swirling and I can say with certainly that a few of the boys have went out of their way to speak highly of him. And that resonates with some more than others. It’s “game” time.
