The following is from our play-by-play coverage of the WWE WrestleMania 35 PPV event:
Falls Count Anywhere Match: Shane McMahon vs. The Miz
Miz chased him down until Shane landed a series of strikes. Now in the ring, they trade more punches. The fans were booing Shane’s punches. Shane put Miz on the announce table then went to the top rope. Miz’s dad got in front of his son and stood his ground. Miz’s dad got into the ring and wanted to fight Shane.
Shane hit a flying knee then some kicks to pops. Miz ran in and started beating down Shane. Miz tossed him into the barricade then into the crowd. Miz checked on his dad then brawled with McMahon into the crowd and sent him into one of the support structures. McMahon with a DDT for 2.
Miz drop kicked him of a platform sending him into a guardrail. Miz lands a few chair shots to Shane. They brawl up to where the international announcers are and wreck their setup. Miz sent McMahon flying through a table. Miz sent McMahon flying over the stand and fell to the concrete. That was maybe an 8 foot drop that saw a golf cart break his fall.
Miz got a near fall out of it. They then brawled over to the tech area where Miz hit the Skull Crushing Finale for 2. McMahon hit him with a piece of case then started to climb a structure that was high up. McMahon begged him and apologized but Miz attacked him then throwing him off the platform but instead hit a suplex through a platform. Shane landed on Miz and got the win.
