Edge defeated Finn Balor inside Hell in a Cell at WWE WrestleMania 39 on Sunday night.
During the match, Balor was busted open when Edge threw a ladder at him, and it caused a giant cut on the top of Balor’s head.
According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, the match was planned to go even longer than it did, but once Balor was busted open, they rushed through the rest of the match and only worked another ten minutes.
This may have explained why there was so much time between the Hell in a Cell match and the main event.
