April Mendez (AJ Lee/AJ Mendez) began her WWE career in 2009 in Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) and later NXT before transitioning to the main roster in 2011. During her tenure on the main roster, she achieved considerable success, winning the Divas Championship on three occasions and maintaining a record-setting title reign of 406 days.

Following her departure from WWE in 2015 due to health issues, Lee pursued other ventures, including working on comic books and authoring her biography in 2017. She also played a role in the relaunch of the WOW (Women Of Wrestling) promotion.

It was previously announced that Lee’s memoir, “Crazy Is My Superpower,” would be developed for television.

On a recent edition of “The Comicon” podcast, it was announced that the show will air on A&E.
