Chelsea Green has retained her Women’s United States Championship over Michin in their Philly Street Fight on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, but not just by some outside interference from her head of security, Piper Niven.
The deciding factor was actually some bonus help from Alba Fyre, who made a surprise appearance cloaked in a hoodie to attack Michin and specifically help Green retain, saluting her and seemingly aligning herself with the champion.
Is this a new member of a faction, or just a one-off alliance? That remains to be seen, but Fyre recently lost her tag team partner Isla Dawn, who was released several weeks back. This appears to be a new direction for her going forward, moving over to the SmackDown brand to pledge her allegiance to Green.
