At WWE WrestleMania 40 (Night One), Rey Mysterio and Andrade (w/ Carlito, Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, and Zelina Vega) defeated Santos Escobar and “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio (w/ Angel, Berto, and Elektra Lopez) by pinfall.
In a recent interview with “The Ringer,” Andrade called teaming up with Rey a “dream come true” moment for him. He said,
“It’s excellent. I don’t have words because — I have many dreams, but yesterday, those dreams came true, [Wrestling] at WrestleMania after 20 years in this business. Second, tag-teaming with Rey Mysterio is something incredible. It’s incredible. I couldn’t believe I was at WrestleMania beside Rey Mysterio.”
Dominik, who lost to his father for the second year in a row, told the media outlet that he is still a member of The Judgment Day despite collaborating with Legado del Fantasma.
Dominik said, “Not at all, let me cut you off right there. You may have seen me beating up the LWO and walking out with Legado Del Fantasma, but at the end of the day, I’m Judgment Day. My family is Judgment Day. We run the WWE if you can’t tell by seeing us on SmackDown, RAW, and hell, even when we have to go down to NXT and straighten those young kids out.”
He continued, “But, as far as I see it — with the past two WrestleManias, it just seems that my dad constantly needs help from people to try and beat me. Last night, it was, I just saw two beer belly fat boys that came in the ring and decided to put their hands on me, which should have been a DQ, but whatever. It is what it is.”
