During Sunday night’s WWE NXT Battleground 2024 pay-per-view event, Roxanne Perez successfully defended her NXT Women’s Championship against TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace courtesy of an unexpected intervention from Ash By Elegance (formerly Dana Brooke) and Tatum Paxley.
Despite Grace’s strong performance, the match took a sudden turn when Paxley attempted to interfere and claim the TNA Knockouts Title.
Paxley ran to the entrance ramp where Ash appeared and attempted to take the title.
This distraction provided Perez with the opportunity to counter Grace’s Juggernaut Driver and secure the victory with a Pop Rocks.
Perez’s reign as NXT Women’s Champion has now reached 65 days, having captured the title from Lyra Valkyria at NXT Stand & Deliver during WrestleMania 40 weekend.
