As we previously reported here on eWn, WWE President Nick Khan recently revealed that Las Vegas, NV is on the list of cities who are in the running to host next year’s WrestleMania 41 pay-per-view event.
WWE has yet to announce a location for WrestleMania 41, and Fightful Select has an update on next year’s flagship pay-per-view event.
Usually, about a year before the next WrestleMania, WWE announces the date, location and venue for the event, but that isn’t the case this time around.
Multiple sources close to the Minnesota government have “at times” suggested that Minneapolis is the frontrunner to host WrestleMania 41 and that they plan to make an official announcement soon.
However, some within WWE are pushing for Las Vegas, NV to be the host city for WrestleMania 41. Nick Khan also said it is unlikely that WWE will hold WrestleMania again at an outdoor venue in the Northeast due to concerns about cold weather.
Multiple options regarding the cold weather are being discussed in case WWE chooses to bring WrestleMania 41 to Minneapolis, Minnesota. It’s worth noting that US Bank Stadium does have a roof over it.
Khan also noted that WWE has no plans to compete with the NCAA Final Four moving forward, leading some to believe that WrestleMania 41 could take place in May of next year.
