Several changes were made to Friday night’s post-WWE SmackDown dark matches.
Fightful Select is reporting that the original plan for Friday’s post-show dark matches would have seen Sami Zayn face off against Ludwig Kaiser and GUNTHER defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Jay Uso and Damian Priest.
Instead, Zayn faced off against Santos Escobar with Legado Del Fantasma in his corner, while GUNTHER took on Jey Uso in a match that saw Ludwig Kaiser and Damian Priest get involved. A tag team match of Priest and Uso vs. GUNTHER and Kaiser followed that match.
It was said that the changes were made to simply send the crowd home happy.
