The 2024 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view event takes place on Saturday, January 27, in Tampa, FL at Tropicana Field and will air live on Peacock.
WWE’s Royal Rumble event is synonymous with surprises and tomorrow’s event will be no exception.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that WWE has been planning “a lot of surprises” for the 37th iteration of the Royal Rumble.
Only eleven men and six women have been announced for their respective Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches so far, leaving the door open for possible surprise entrants.
As you’d expect, external talent being booked for the event have been instructed to keep their involvement a secret.
Brock Lesnar was set to be a surprise for tomorrow’s pay-per-view event, but he may no longer appear following his involvement in the Vince McMahon sex trafficking lawsuit.
With that being said, Lesnar was scheduled to appear as of Thursday.
