Fightful Select has shared backstage notes from this week’s episode of WWE NXT.
The episode was internally titled “Photo Finish,” referencing the main event NXT Title match between Trick Williams and Eddy Thorpe.
NXT sources were pleased with the controversial finish in the main event, which featured Trick Williams defending the NXT Title against Eddy Thorpe.
Furthermore, CM Punk was reportedly in attendance, keeping a “close eye” on rehearsals for this week’s taping.
