WWE held several dark matches at last night’s SmackDown TV tapings.
Gable Steveson defeated Cameron Grimes before the live FOX broadcast, while Drew McIntyre defeated The Miz after SmackDown went off the air.
According to a report from Fightful, the SmackDown talents who were in Miami for last night’s show didn’t have to travel to Tampa earlier in the week for media.
In the past, WWE has had talents pull double-duty for doing both promotional appearances for a pay-per-view event and SmackDown in the same week.
